Terms of Service
The terms governing organizations, users, certificates, credits, and use of ISSUVIA.
Last updated October 18, 2026
1. Introduction and operator
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of ISSUVIA, available at issuvia.com. ISSUVIA is currently operated by Abdullahi Mohammed, an individual based in Nigeria, under the ISSUVIA brand ("ISSUVIA", "we", "us", or "our").
By registering for, accessing, or using an ISSUVIA workspace, you agree to the Terms applicable at that time. If you act for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to act for it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What ISSUVIA provides
ISSUVIA offers tools for authorized organizations to manage certificate recipients, design and generate digital certificates, issue and deliver certificates, and support public verification. Features may change during the public beta, and some capabilities or payment methods may be unavailable while activation or testing continues.
ISSUVIA provides certificate infrastructure. The issuing organization, not ISSUVIA, is responsible for whether a particular person completed a course, qualified for an award, or otherwise earned a credential.
3. Accounts, access, and organizations
Users must supply accurate registration and organizational information, maintain the security of their credentials, and keep their email addresses usable for important service messages.
A person who creates or manages an organization must have authority to do so. Organization owners and permitted administrators are responsible for inviting and managing their users and assigning appropriate access rights. Account access must not be shared in ways that defeat assigned roles or other security controls.
We may restrict access to protect the platform, investigate suspected misuse, or comply with legal requirements. Where reasonably practicable, we will communicate important restrictions and provide a route to raise concerns.
4. Issuing organizations and recipient information
Organizations must ensure that recipients`'` personal information is collected and uploaded lawfully, is accurate for the intended certificates, and is supported by appropriate permissions, notices, or other lawful grounds.
Organizations remain responsible for the accuracy, legitimacy, branding, and content of certificates issued under their names. They must not use ISSUVIA to forge qualifications, impersonate institutions, issue unauthorized awards, or misrepresent a person`'`s status.
ISSUVIA may suspend or revoke abusive access and may cooperate with lawful requests and affected parties where required.
5. Certificate verification and reliance
ISSUVIA may provide a public record indicating whether a certificate exists and its currently recorded status. A verification result reflects the records held by the platform; it is not an independent guarantee that the underlying education, training, professional qualification, or other claim is true.
Issuing organizations are responsible for correcting erroneous records and managing revocations where supported. Third parties should conduct any additional checks appropriate to their circumstances.
6. Credits and certificate issuance
ISSUVIA uses certificate credits. Unless expressly stated otherwise at the point of use, one credit is consumed when one certificate is officially issued.
New qualifying organizations currently receive 50 complimentary credits on activation. Complimentary credits have no cash value and may be subject to reasonable anti-abuse safeguards. We may change the introductory offer for future signups with clear notice.
Credit packages and prices are shown before checkout. Purchased credits do not expire. Credit balances cannot be redeemed for cash except where refunds or other remedies are required or agreed.
We may correct erroneous grants or balances caused by duplicate processing, fraud, or technical mistakes, with appropriate records and support review.
7. Payments, refunds, and disputes
Where online checkout is available, payments are processed through our payment provider, currently Paystack. A purchase is fulfilled only after verification of the successful payment. Pending or failed payment attempts do not automatically grant credits.
Prices, currency, taxes (if applicable), package sizes, and relevant conditions should be clearly disclosed before payment. Promotional prices or future price changes do not retroactively alter purchases already completed.
If you are charged but the credits are not delivered, contact support@issuvia.com with the transaction reference so that we can investigate and reconcile the payment. We will correct verified fulfillment errors, which may include delivering the missing credits or issuing a refund when appropriate.
Requests to refund unused purchased credits will be assessed according to the circumstances, applicable law, and any disclosed purchase conditions. Refunds, reversals, and chargebacks may require a corresponding adjustment to the affected credit balance. Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Acceptable use
You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or data; disrupt the service; distribute malicious code; misuse recipient email addresses; upload content you do not have a right to use; generate fraudulent, discriminatory, unlawful, or misleading certificates; or circumvent security, credit limits, or organization restrictions.
We may apply reasonable technical limits and take proportionate steps in response to suspected abuse, subject to applicable law.
9. Content, templates, and intellectual property
You retain the rights you lawfully hold in recipient data, templates, logos, and certificate content you provide. You grant ISSUVIA the limited permission required to host, process, render, store, deliver, and verify that content to provide the service.
You must have permission to use signatures, trademarks, names, and imagery that you upload. ISSUVIA retains rights in its own software, brand, and documentation, subject to applicable law.
10. Service availability and changes
We work to keep ISSUVIA reliable, but maintenance, external service failures, security incidents, and other interruptions can occur. During the beta, some functionality may be updated, temporarily restricted, or withdrawn. Where reasonably feasible, we will inform affected users of material changes.
Nothing in this section removes mandatory consumer protections or remedies under applicable law.
11. Suspension, termination, and data handling
You may stop using ISSUVIA and contact support to request account or organization closure where applicable. We may restrict or terminate access for serious violations, fraudulent certificate activity, payment abuse, security risks, or legal obligations.
Access termination may affect new issuance and dashboard access. Records needed for legitimate certificate verification, billing, dispute handling, security, or law may need to be retained for a period; see the Privacy Policy.
12. Responsibility and limitations
ISSUVIA is not the issuer of credentials created by independent organizations and does not independently verify their educational or professional claims. Each party remains responsible for obligations assigned to it by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Where material changes affect existing users, we will provide reasonable notice as required and identify the effective date of the revised Terms.
14. Contact
For support, billing questions, legal notices, or concerns about certificate use, contact support@issuvia.com.
